Pool time!

I got to play in my doggy pool last weekend for the first time this year. It was really hot outside so mommy and daddy got it out for me. It was so much fun. My fur brother even played with me in the pool for a while. I still don't know how to get the things to come off the bottom of the pool. I paw and paw at them, but they just don't move. The only bad thing was I had to get a bath after I was done playing, but it was worth it.

Away from home

I managed to get out of the fence that the next door neighbors are waiting to fix. There was a little opening and when daddy wasn't looking my doggy brother went through, so of course I had to follow. We ran through the neighborhood greeting people and dogs until a truck stopped to pick me up, but they didn't bring my brother, so I was really scared without any of my family with me. The man in the truck took me home with him and I had to stay with him for almost a whole week until some nice policemen came and saved me and took me home. A very nice woman had seen the man in the truck stop and pick me up and she thought it was strange because she knew me and brother were together, so she wrote down the license plate number. When she saw an ad in the paper she called and told mom and dad, so they called the police to rescue me. I'm so happy to be home, if I could meet that woman I would give her a ton of slobbery kisses. Dad fixed the fence to close up any escape routes until the neighbors can replace it. I wouldn't even think of leaving again though ; )

Family Life

I know it's been awhile since I've written, but things have been crazy around the house. Mom and Dad are getting married next weekend, so we'll be a real family (even though we already are). Mom's been doing all kinds of crazy things getting ready for the wedding. The only bad part is that we aren't allowed to go. Mom and Dad wanted to have me and my doggy brother in the wedding, but the chapel won't let us come. They told us they would bring us lots of food back though. I better get some of that cake!

Christmas time

So this is my first real Christmas and so far it's pretty cool. There's a tree inside our house (I never knew trees could grow inside). I like to lay under it when the lights are on, it's really neat. I still don't know why I cant play with the balls that are stuck in the tree, they look just like the ones I usually play with. Anyway, mom told me I will get new toys and treats in my stocking so I'm excited. I don't know why I can't get them now.

Bad trip to the doggy doctor

Yesterday I went back to the doggy doctor. Mom wanted to have my ears checked because they were bothering me. Usually it's a pretty fun place with all of the other dogs that live there, there's even a big bulldog named Bubba. When I got into the little room, the doctor started doing all kinds of weird stuff. He found out that I had two different ear infections, one in each ear. Now I have to have ear drops every day, which are aweful. As soon as I see mom grab the bottle, I run and hide. She does give me a treat after we're all done, so that makes it a little better. I'll bark at you later.

Miss Dogster Beauty Pageant

Hey everyone, I'm Miss Texas in the Miss Dogster Beauty Pageant. I'm so excited, I hope I win. If the judge could just meet me, I know I would definitely win, but it's just based on my picture. Mom worked really hard on it though, so I think I have a good chance. That's all for now, everyone wish me good luck on the pageant.

A day at the pool

Yesterday, we went to grandma's and played in the pool all day. This time mommy and daddy both went, and we got to take my brother, Dream. It was so much fun. We spent the whole day swimming and catching plastic fish. I even floated with mom on the floatie for a while. Of all things, after we left there, we went to Petsmart! I got a new pretty sparkly collar, I don't like to wear it though. I think it might have been the best day ever.

Back-yard hole

I don't know what's going on! A couple of days ago, dad started digging a BIG hole in the back yard. I helped a little. He said it was for a fish pond. I don't know what that is, but I do love fish. I hope they are like the ones my grandma has. She got some fish that swim in her pool that are so much fun to grab. I'm getting really good at it too. Sometimes my doggie cousin Callie helps me get them, which is really fun because she doesn't ever let me play with her. That's all for now.

I love water!

A couple of days ago, my mom filled up a baby pool for me. I knew playing in the water was fun, but having a pool just for me is great. Now I get to jump in any time I go outside. It also keeps me from getting too hot. I found out how much fun getting dried off can be too. Mom and me play games with the towel while she dries me. It's time to go splash some more.

New house

We moved into our new house this last week. I really like it there. The wood floors are a little hard to run on though, I keep slipping. The yard is really big and there are next door doggie neighbors that I've been talking to through the fence. I'm still getting all settled in, but I'm pretty happy here.
