What a fun day

Thanks for all the lovely words about being dog for the day. It is a real treat to get all the comments and congratulations. I and my whole family wish you all a very happy and healthy New Year.

Spring has sprung

The critters that are flying and running around my yard are amazing. I try to catch then but can't seem to jump that high. Mom said she is taking me to an agility class this weekend. Maybe that will help me catch some of those pests in my yard!
There are brown little furry things that have stripes on their backs. They sound like some of my squeakie toys when they run under the deck. My sister and I try to dig to get to them. I don't know for sure what I would do if I got one. I am just following my older sisters lead.

I don't like the sideline!

Get me in the game! This sideline stuff is for the birds. Or should I say puppies. I want to get in there and show them how it is done. The water looks great.
Dad is upstairs watching a bunch of guys running around a field that looks like this one. Mom and I are watching this game but I must admidt, it is not as much fun as being in the game.

Watching the dog show

Tonight I get to see the working class show at the dog food dog show. I tried to put in some votes for my friends last night but my mom was only allowed to vote once. There were so many I wanted to play with but I just had to stare at that screen. Maybe tonight some of them will jump out and play with me.

dog park playtime

It was so wonderful at dog park today. We played with Dakota, a Sami that was very friendly today, and Cinnamon, a chocolate lab. I even brought the ball back like the retriever does! I thought I was suppose to just chase it!

Dog park in the snow

Mom took us to dog park today. Not many footprints in the snow! Not many new smells or people and their pups there either. The snow was so deep that Polar had to work hard to keep up with me. My legs are longer than hers!

There was a new friend there today that was not the least bit friendly. I am not sure why they come to a park if they do not want to play. Oh well, we will try another day.

Yeah, it is snowing again!

Oh goody! I woke up and it is all white again. More is falling and I love to play in it. Bad thing is I am shedding. I thought a heavy coat at this time of year would be good but mine is falling out - alot! I leave most of it in the house so I don't mess up my snow.

A new years party

I went to the vet and got my stitches out. Now I can run around and enjoy the party that is being planned. Decorations, company and PRESENTS!!! Hope there is something good in there for me.
I grabbed a treat off the counter just to taste some of the goodies. The spoon on the floor gave me away. It tasted great! Mom was irritated that I shredded the paper towel when I licked that off too. Well atleast I didn't eat that!

Going to the vet

Mom took me to the vet yesterday and when she picked me up I had stitches on my tummy. A loose tooth was taken out and I was very sleepy and I hurt. She slept with me all night to make sure I did not get upset. Everytime I cried she would pet me. I think I will use that more often.

I am getting alot of attention today. My sister is being really nice and when she wants to play, mom tells her not to play today. I really do not feel much like playing but I do love the attention.

The people at the vets office were wonderful. I did a bunch of howling and I am sure that is why mom came to get me. I think I will whine now to see what happens.

Goody - more snow!

It snowed more last night. What fun it is to run in this stuff. I can slide better, see more stuff to follow cause their tracks are left in the snow and the temperature is great! Mom throws snowballs for me but I do not want to catch them in my face. I just like to chase them am pretend I could bring it back.
I need a nap now since I played so hard and ran soooo fast!
