I won!!!

I am very proud! For the 3rd time I have won the title "Dog of the Month"! This time it was in the dog magazine "Vi med Hund" (means "Us with Dogs") and the competition was tough but I got more than 30% of the votes and there were 15 candidates!

The prize was a huge box full of toys and goodies - not bad!!!

It is my birthday today!

I feel so ashamed that I haven't updated my diary for so long time. But today it is my birthday and that is a good occasison.

We got up early and I had a birthday cake made of dark bread, liver pâté and sausages, mmmmmm!!!! Then I opened my many presents and played with them.
In the afternoon I had a long walk and in the evening I got fried liver with potatoes and dry dog food. Now I am so tired!

I have uploaded new pics - one is from a castle where I stayed with my mom in the summer. It was lovely - I felt like a princess!

Spring!

It is spring now and I love the sunny weather! Sun bathing is SO great! The other day I made a picnic with my family in the forrest and it was lovely. Fortunately my family doesn't belong to those who believes that dogs should only eat dog food. That would be a disaster.

Today I went to say goodbye to my hairdresser. She is closing down her saloon, so I have to find a new one. Pity, I liked her very much. Only good thing about it is that I got on of the toys, a very nice blue rubber rabbit. It misses the bottom, but who cares?

Christmas and New Year

Christmas is great! There were a lot of gifts under the tree and most of them were for me! I got a lot of stuff like a monkey, a football, a Santa etc. etc. In Denmark people dance around the Christmas tree before they give presents and it demands a lot of patience to wait. Sometimes I touch the presents to try to figure out what is inside, and before Christmas I even managed to find one king size biscuit which my grandma bought for another dog, but I ate it....

New Year I don't like. No presents and a lot of noise. Why do people complain because of barking dogs when they make so much noise themselves?

My Holiday

It is time that I tell you about my fabulous holiday!

It was already my 4th travel abroad and we went to Poland. We flew to Warsaw and on the flight I had to stay in my bag. As it is only 1 and a half hour it is ok with me.

Then we continued by bus to Lublin in the eastern part of Poland. Luckily I don't get travel-sick so there were no troubles. We stayed in a small wooden house and there were a lot of dogs around to play with while mom gave a concert.

After 4 days we went to see our friends in Wroclaw. It was SO hot there, so soon we again went to the countryside - this time in the south. There were mountains and I love trekking! At home it is sometimes boring to walk, but in the mountains there are so many new and exciting smells. I went up much quicker than mom! We went to restaurants a couple of times, and mom bought also meals for me there. Num!

Finally back to Wroclaw and home from there. On the way back there weren't many people in the airplane, so mom took me out of the bag and I was sitting beside her. It was two very nice weeks! See also my holiday pics!

In the Sea

This summer I have for the first time really enjoyed bathing in the sea. In Denmark the water is VERY wet, so I only dip my feet and a bit of my body....
However I think I have been very brave! And it is SO fun the dig the beach!

How I Got A Cow

The other day my mom took me to a bookshop. I don't find books particularly interesting, but they had a big bucket full of toy animals! That is something which interests me a lot....! Mom wouldn't buy any for me, because they were rather expensive and I am not so kind to my soft toys, but then the shop assistant gave me one! It is because I am so cute I don't have to pay. I am lucky!

Anniversary

Today it is 2 years ago my mum picked me up!
She has told me it was the best day ever in her life. I understand that!
We have been celebrating eating chicken with pasta mmmm.
