I'm One Year Old Now

Hi - I'm one year old now - my birthday was on November 7. We had a party with a special supper and a cheese cake with milkbones on it. It was really good.
I've grown alot since I came to my new home last February. My mom told me she wasn't sure about getting a 'boy' dog but that she was just so lucky to find me because 1) of course I'm adorably cute 2) incredibly affectionate and 3) just the sweetest dog she has ever met. Of course she is right, she could have added a few more of my many superior traits but she doesn't want to brag.
Things have been good for me. I enjoy my home - I have two sisters to play with, a toy box full of toys, a cat to steal food from and I get to sleep on the big bed. Plus I have alot of really great pup pals. Could it be any better?

The Vet

Well, the day after Mommy and Daddy came to get me I had to go to a place called the Vet. Dr. John Reeves-Newson said I was a cute little guy but he gave me needles which were not fun so I hoped that would be the end of that. But no, I had to go back and have more needles a few days ago. When will it end? I heard Mommy and the Vet whispering about a pre-surgery visit in about a month and half. What could that mean? It is always something in a little guy's life. Oh well, on the bright side I have learned to go up and down the stairs (wow freedom) and jump up on the couch all by myself. So, I guess things are not all bad.
