Arrival Story:
My children and I witnessed a large dog attack what we thought was a kitten. The owners of the lab grabbed their dog, got in their truck and drove away. I went over to see if we could help the kitten and it turned out to be a tiny Pekingese puppy! We rushed him to the ER and so far he is doing ok. He has severely bruised lungs and his lungs are 2/3 full of blood, but he is improving. He still may not make it, but we pray that he does. We have decided to name him Chen Po. **update** Chen Po is now finally out of the hospital and is doing well. He was not “supposed to” make it, but he did. We could not be happier. He is such a happy, surprisingly well adjusted little guy. We will post updates often
