Bio:
Lucy was born on September 5, 2000. She had only 1 brother in her litter, Yankee. Lucy spent her early months, un-named on a farm that my mom owned in Shelbyville, KY. It took me about 2 months to name Lucy, being called "Baby Girl" for those months. I finally decided on her name Lucerne (Lucy for short) after seeing a photo of the Lion Monument in Lucerne, Switzerland. When Lucy was old enough, I took her home to Louisville to live with me.
Lucy passed away on February 4, 2006. She had kidney cancer.
