Big dog

Quick Bio:

May 8th 1994

Foods of all kinds and her family. Modeling for me and being with our friends.

Favorite Toy:
Tennis balls are her favorite but she destroys them, so rawhide bones and kongs fit the bill

Favorite Food:

Favorite Walk:
The forest preserve

Best Tricks:
Doing a finish in the air

Arrival Story:
Nikon is my first introduction to this breed. A road side sign made me stop and although this has never been my way of obtaining a dog, I am grateful for having stopped. We had ten wonderful years with Nikon. She was born May 8th 1994 and died in August of 2004.

She has left a huge hole in my heart. I will miss her always.

This year Floppy, the girl in the middle, joined Nikon over the rainbow bridge. I hesitated to use the term of the bridge before, but it seems to be part of our language now and it really fits. I miss Nikon so very much. Now that all three of these girls are gone, they have left a hole in our hearts.

I seem to be talking to you a lot lately. Most of the time it is seeing you through the tears in my eyes.
I received an email from a Dogster friend and their Sib was born the same year and month that you were. They lost their boy the same time I lost you. He looks very much like you so I hope you are playing with him.
The hurt of being here without you is still big. Kodak and Polar say hi!
I love you.

I always took pictures of you but one never knows when it will be the last one we have. You running and jumping with Polar is so special. When illness strikes fast and there is no warning, the memories are in the images. Thank you for being my friend.
