Best Tricks: Ring the bell, doing addition with a bell, two-pawed wave, opening doors

Arrival Story: We went to pickup another dog, but it had already been taken. We were upset by this, and convinced that we were not to get a dog, until we saw Bella at the Pasadena Humane Society. She constantly looked for the foodguy and occationally paid attention to us. She was the sweetest thing we had seen, so we put our name on the waiting list for her. After an excrutiating week, we were able to finally take her home. It was love at first sight.

Bio: We found out that Bella has hip displasia. She was probably born with it. We love her just the same. This doesn't deter her from playing with her best buddy in the whole wide world, next to her sister China, DARBY. They grew up together and took many classes together as well. They were charged on many occassions, by their trainer Nicole, with disturbing the class in order to play with each other. In her first obedience class, we thought that she would not do well, but obtained a Second Place award in the graduation trials. Boy were we stunned. She eventually went on to get her CGC Certificate.

Forums Motto: Make way for the Queen.

Today on the 19th of April, 2012 the love of my life passed away after a long battle with a brain tumor. In her waning days, she became very twitchy and had many seizures. Yesterday, she had trouble standing up and we knew it was time. Today, she kept falling over with the inability to get back up. She looked me in the eyes and told me that today was the day, today she would be at peace.
I always said that the reason why Bella had so many problems was that there was so much love in her body that there was no room for the other stuff. She loved children, people, and other dogs alike. When a baby cried, she was there to tend to it, thus getting the nickname, "MOMMY DOG". She had a long tongue and used it all the time to clean you off and to make you feel better. She had a spark of life and love. She was one in a million with absolutely no aggressive bones in her body. She played hard and she slept hard. She was my baby, and I think I was hers.
God Bless you my dearest Bella, we will truly miss you.

So the holidays have come and gone, along with the constant stream of guests and family that have been keeping me up and making me very tired. I try to go to a secluded part of the house, but people keep finding me and bugging me. It is so hard being this cute. The worst offenders were the kids, I love them and they love me, but there are times that I just want to get away.
They were over the other day which was nice, but I am still recovering from their visit. So tonight is New Year's. I hope that it is a quiet night with not many guests over. i want to, no scratch that... NEED TO SLEEP!!
I never thought I would say this, but I am looking forward to when my mommy and daddy go back to work. Maybe then, I can catch up on some much needed sleep.
Oh look, I can see the inside of my eyelids!! Oh wait... Zzzzzzzz...

Hooray, my mommy and daddy are home all week!! They got off of work for Thanksgiving. Right now, they are home and they are playing with me!! I got some ham for breakfast today!! I love to play bark at them. When I do this, they usually jump up and run around with me.
I am such a lucky girl, but I would be luckier if they would bring home some turkey from Thanksgiving!!
