Arrival Story:
He had been roaming around the area where I work for a few days and he looked kind of skinny so I was keeping an eye on him to see if he belonged to someone. Next to my job there is a car dealer and the guys from there had given him some water and when I saw him I asked them if he was theirs. They said that it didn't belong to anyone as far as they knew and they coundn't take him home. So, I took him with me, asked around the area if someone had lost a dog, posted flyers around my area and notified SPCA but no one ever claimed him. I suspect he was "dumped" by his owners. He has the best temperament, very playful, not agressive at all. He is getting along well with all my other dogs but likes to play rough with cats(he thinks they are toys!) . I am not sure how old he is but I estimate him to be not older than 12 months. He has been neutered. He has the best disposition and not a barker at all.

Bio:
UPDATE 5/2/2006--Spottie is currently taking obedience training at Petsmart and he is doing very well. So far, he's learned to not jump on people and not to pull when walked. He would be a great trained retriever! He loves to retrieve sticks and balls. I am going to train him to play with frisbees. He is just great to work out with! His weight was 46# when he had his neutering on 2-14-2006. He's been updated on his vaccines and will be microchipped.
