I had to make a deal with my husband though to get an older dog b/c he did not want to go through the puppy stage again. I thought it would take awhile to find an older female, but I was wrong. I found a breeder that needed to rehome one of her dogs and the rest is history. She's been great even though she does like to "bully" her little brother, Peet.
