Arrival Story:
Bear joined our family Easter weekend 1999. He showed up hungry and matted. We could not find his former family. He became friends with Fletcher, our dog of six years. We have enjoyed every minute with him since.

Bio:
Bear was diagnosed with bone cancer in Januaury. He did well with treatment for several months. Our wonderful vet and MedVet of Columbus helped keep Bear happy and comfortable. We had a pet photographer take pictures of him and Fletcher. They turned out beautifully. We are so glad we have them now. Bear lost his fight on August 11th. We had him cremated and his ashes put in a beautiful wooden box. We miss him terribly but know we will see him again at rainbow bridge.
