Arrival Story: I went out into the pasture to saddle up my horse one day and found a small brown dog standing beside her and munching on grass. I went to coax the dog towards me and she sped off through the pasture, under the fence, and down the road. I figured she was going home. That afternoon I found her sitting in my living room! My husband had let her in while I was out riding. I decided we should try to find her home. Later that day I found her near the duck pond licking the face of one of my female mallards. It was so cute! That evening, after we placed an ad in the newspaper and put up flyers, my husband decided to play his guitar. I'm not sure if Sadie hated it or loved it, but she jumped right up into his arms! After that we just couldn't part with her. We never found her home, but she must have belonged to someone; considering the vet said she was already spayed and we discovered that she was housetrained!

Bio: Sadie loves to stick her head out of the cat door, even though the rest of her body will not fit. I think she likes to look outside. When I let her out she usually just wants to come back in right away. If I don't let her inside immediatley, she will stand on her hind legs and scratch at the door nob! I bet if she has thumbs that she could open it by herself!
