Arrival Story:
I reserved Pj at Collezione Privata's breeder at Christmas, 2 months before she was born. Since one year I was thinking to buy a toy poodle, but I wanted an apricot one because I'm ginger and I believe that the dog must be similar to its owner. In Italy it's very difficult to find this kind of colour. In February the litter was composed by a female and a male. The girl was already mine! After one week I went to see her and paid half the money, my parents didn't know anything. After one month I went again to visit her: she was gorgeous and I decided to call her Paillettes. The breeder wanted to call her Prestige but it sounded too snobbish. Her brother was called Picasso. I wanted Pj to start Agility dog with me and not to attend Beauty competions!Even if she has already won the best puppy beauty competition and the third place among all breeds. I wanted to compete in agility also in small size competition because with my boxer Bijou I didn't have many chances to win against border collies. Furthermore I thought that with a small dog I could run less, but she is a race and everybody teases me at the agility club now!Anyway beginning of May I came back with my puppy and my parents chased me because they didn't want the 4th dog.So I started looking for a new house while sleeping with Pj and Bijou in my car.It was a hard time. My brother spoke to my parents and we agreed that I could come back home with the promise I would sell the dog. As soon as my Mum saw Pj she fell in love with her and I needn't find a new owner for my puppy.(I knew that!!!)

Pj is really sweet, she adores me, she licks me whenever she can, she looks like she hasn't seen me for ages whenever I come home and she cries and jumps to welcome me. She likes attending agility lessons and she wants to be the best at school. She loves chocolate and at Christmas she has stolen plenty of chocolates which were supposed to be for the guests. She is Arsenio Lupin in a dog fur. She likes stealing whatever she can, she tries to eat all naughty staff and then she vomits.Bleah! She doesn't like to eat, it's very difficult to feed her, she always want to change the menu, she doesn't like dog food, she wants human food and appreciates very much to come with me to the restaurant, to pizzerias, pubs, going shopping and if she could she would come also to the theatre and the cinema. She is really funny and cute. I didn't know I could fall in love with her so deeply, after 25 years convivence with big dogs like boxers. But she was able to conquer my love with her sweetness. When she was 8 months she was attacked by the 3 boxers of mine: They played with her like she was a ball. I rescued her and took her to the vet. She was shocked with a dislocated jaw. Luckily the 3 bed boys wanted only to play because with one bite they could have killed her!Now she knows she is a poodle and not a boxer and she is careful whenever she goes in the garden. I love her even if she licks me too much. I like taking her to the hairdresser, to buy her t-shirts, mantels, lovely coats and any kind of dog gadgets. We sleep together: Bijou on the left of the double bed, me on the right and Pj on my back or near my head. She heats my belly in winter time when we watch tv and she appreciates pop music.
