I am in a better place now... things were looking so good after my surgery, but things quickly got worse again. I had a couple seizures two days ago and mommy got worried and took me back to the vet, where I had a really bad seizure that caused me to have brain damage. The vet told mommy that I would most likely have seizures for the rest of my life and that I would never be the same after the brain damage... mommy didn't want me to suffer anymore... mommy stayed with me, held me, and told me that she loved me and that everything would be ok... I am now in heaven with mommy and sissy's first dog, Jessie Roo (we really do look a lot alike!) and we can't wait to see mommy and sissy again!

Really sick...

For about the last week, I have been having seizures and my mommy has been very sad and worried. Mommy has taken me to a really big vet and the local vet, but nobody knew for sure what was wrong until today... I had a seizure this morning and mommy wanted me to not be in pain anymore... the vet talked her out of putting me down and told mommy to wait until the blood work results came back. Mommy is so happy that she did! The results came back, my liver is ok, so they thought I might have epilepsy... but the vet wanted to take an x-ray of my abdoman just incase, before he gave me medicine for my seizures. They found an obstruction! I went into surgery and they found a lead fishing weight that I must have gobbled up. So I will be ok now that it's gone!
