My name is Mia and I am from a Boston Terrier Rescue in Texas called ABTR (American Boston Terrier Rescue). They saved me from wandering the streets in Oklahoma and I now live with my forever mommy in Utah where I am like TOTALLY spoiled. I miss my mama Wanda at the rescue but I know she loves me and knows I am loved:)
I have a brother named Madison who teases me alot. I just fuss back at him and tell him to leave me alone. I need my beauty sleep! He will be 4 yrs old next month.
My mommy gives me lots of hugs and kisses each day and dresses me up so I can be the DIVA that I am:) I love my clothes and think I am pretty cute if I do say so myself. My mommy told me she is going to update my page this week with new pictures and everything. I am not into toys (Madison is happy about that; he doesn't have to share) but I love soft loveys to lay against. I like sleeping next to mom. I let Madison share the bed with me.
When I arrived in Utah, I already had bad eyes. Shortly after, I developed glaucoma and despite the eye docs and mommy's best efforts, I had to have my right eye removed. I did very well during surgery. I don't see great out of my left eye but I don't let it stop me from walking inside or outside. I use my nose to guide me.
I am so glad it is spring! It gets quite cold here in Salt Lake with the snow and all and I don't have much fur to keep me warm. Mommy does put warm clothes on me so that helps. I love to roll around in the grass and drag my tummy along. it feels so good!
Well, that is enough for now. I will try to keep ya'll up with what is going on at my place. Till next time!
