Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: June 6th 2000
Likes: His brother Schultz, the color white, Mommy's feet

Pet-Peeves: When Daddy touches him with his feet, when you try to get him off the bed

Favorite Toy: His brother Schultz, the kitchen garbage bin

Favorite Food: HA HA HA.

Favorite Walk: Anywhere Schultz goes, or from the food bowl to the bed.

Best Tricks: He knows all his commands by hand signals

Arrival Story: We found him abandoned, tied to a pole on the side of the road. We pulled over and he immediately began the infamous butt wiggle. He became part of our family that second. Zor was lost to us in July 2007. We miss him and will always love him. We know he is waiting for us.

Bio: Zor rocks. He eptomizes the sweet, friendly, blindly devoted nature of the breed. He is easy going and loves to cuddle. Nothing phases this dog. If we leave the house, he will sit at the window and watch for us to come back, no matter how long we are gone (we have discovered this through some undercover work!!) Talk about devotion. He is also a talker and loves to tell us exactly what he is thinking. He is attached at the hip to his Dobie brother Schultz - the two absolutely have to be together at all times! We have included a picture of one of his predecessors - our Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Chunk (aka Chunky Bits) who will remain in our hearts forever.

OK, so mom goes to the Midwest Veterinary Conference this weekend and brings home this really flashy blue collar with a little shiny metal box attached to it. She takes it out of the box and says to me "this is for you Zoreo". So, I get all excited and jump all over her and lick her and everything cute a dog should do. I hear them talking about me only getting to wear it when I go O-U-T, so I figure its something to help me catch my fish in my pond or something. Now, Mommy says I have to tell everybody that when they let us out, I don't let my older brother out the door. I bark at him and bully him back in, and he doesn't want to go O-U-T with me anymore. Mommy has to walk him to the door or let him out separate from me cause I will chase him back into the house so he can't go O-U-T. Anyway, later, when we are ready, Daddy puts this collar on me, and I am ready to go catch some fish. I run out and turn around to bully my brother back upstairs by barking at him and the next thing I know, WHAM! I get a big old spray of stinky stuff right up my nose. You can imagine my surprise. I think maybe I sneezed and barked at the same time. So, I try again and WHAM - again with the stinky stuff. So, I try to rub the collar off on the grass all over the yard, but it won't come off. I wait at the door and when I come in, I ask "what the heck is this stinky stuff that sprays me when I bark?" Mommy says its something called citronella. I don't know what that means, but I sure don't like it. So now, when I go outside, I can't bark, or I get the stinky stuff. I have tried dragging my neck all over the yard, but it won't come off. I also can't figure out why mom and dad only put it on me when I go O-U-T. I can bark in the house and I don't get the stinky stuff. Oh, I am so confused. All I know is I don't like it and I can't bark outside anymore. I ignore my brother and let him out the door now, cause if I don't, you guessed it - I get the stinky stuff. The only good part is that I get called a "good boy" ALOT more these days, since I leave my brother alone and don't bark at him or bully him. I will think about this some more and get back to you. But a word of advice to all my kindred spirits. If your mommies and daddies come home some day with a flashy blue collar with a little shiny metal box on it, RUN.

Oh for Dog's sake! Hot, chilly - just eat them already! If they don't, I will.

All the garbage loving dogs and mommies out there will appreciate this one. I love, love, love, knocking over the kitchen trash bin and pulling everything out and playing with it in the dining room. My all-time favorite is when the old coffee grounds come out onto the floor, cause mommy and daddy get all excited and start jumping up and down and yelling my name, along with some words I don't understand. Then we play chase all over the house. It's lots of fun! Anyway, I went down to play this morning and when mommy got up, she saw all my garbage toys and started picking them up (she couldn't jump up and down or play chase, cause her foot is still broken - oh well). She noticed that I had gotten out some McDonald's wrappers. Well, she and Daddy hadn't gone to McDonald's recently, so I heard her say that Daddy must have gone this morning while she was still asleep and gotten himself some breakfast. Now, personally, I thought that was a great idea - I hate to share too. Mommy wasn't as impressed with it as I was though. Daddy got what she calls "an earful", but she was laughing the whole time, so I think she thought something was funny - I'm just not sure what part. She must have been laughing at the fact I ripped the wrappers into little pieces (I thought that was hilarious). I don't think she was laughing at Daddy getting yummy breakfast without her, cause I wouldn't think that was funny at all! I bet Daddy didn't think she would find out, but I helped Mommy find out. She said I was a good boy for pulling out the wrappers so Daddy got caught. I guess I will have to do this more often. Daddy was laughing too, so I guess he didn't mind getting in trouble. What the heck is wrong with him? I hate getting in trouble! Well, gotta go. I think I will see what else I can find in the trash to make mom and dad laugh.
