Arrival Story:
Sally is a retired racer. Chinook Winds Greyhound Rescue brought her up from Kansas and she is now a Canadian! I decided I wanted a bigger dog remembered seeing greyhounds for adoption.I applied anda month later Sally came to live. She is the first one I met and I knew she was the one. Some other people were ahead of me on the approved list so they got first choice, it was one of the longest weeks ever! Luckily they went with the other dog so Sally came to live with NIpper and I. She is a sweetheart!
Bio:
Her racing name was Okie Sidney . Her Mom was Okie Catrin and her Dad was Molotov. She is a more of a socialite than a racer. Three times around the backyard and she needs a nap. Her "crazy dog" routine in the house is a little nerve wracking but we are getting used to it. It's amazing how much speed she can work up in such a small space! I'm not sure what she is going to do when I replace the carpet, she won't get much traction on hardwood!
