Birthday: April 10th 1999 Likes: Zoey loves to be curled up on her couch, watching the world go by the window Pet-Peeves: going potty on bare ground or short cut grass Favorite Toy: barky big head dog and nylabones Favorite Food: eggs Favorite Walk: To the pond at Grandma and Grandpa's house Best Tricks: Zoey can weave into uncomfortable yogic-like positions to the chagrin of all watching Arrival Story: Zoey was an SPCA dog. She yoyoed through three foster homes including giving birth to a litter of puppies at one. After the puppies were old enough to find homes Zoey was still left homeless, and becuase of the stress on her body from the litter she was 15lbs underweight even losing hair. She looked so pathetic and sweet, we instantly fell in love with her. It was the best choice we have ever made. Bio: Zoey is one of the many success stories about getting early medical treatment for hip dysplasia. When we adopted Zoey at about 1 1/2 years old, she already had easily diagonosed hip dysplasia but was not yet in the terrible pain for which the disease is known. Luckily thanks to our wonderful veterinarian who operated on both Zoey's hips in less than one year, Zoey has never had to experience any chronic hip pain. She, as she begins to age gracefully, she is completely pain free and lives a completely health and normal life for which we are so greatful. Forums Motto: Let's go swimming!
