Lookit!

Yay! A while ago I lose my name tag on my collar, and now I have a new one! It's big and shiny and purple and it has me name on it and it has Mom's address on the back I mean how cool is that? I am really hyper today and Sophie wrote about me in her diary after I wrote about her and I like Milkbones and I really want to play at the moment. Goodbye. Did I mention my new name tag? And Milkbones. I loooove Milkbones. Guess what else? Cinnamon did NOT get a new name tag! So there! Ha-ha! But I did. And it's big and shiny and purple. Did I mention that? Oh? Well, goodbye now.

Sophie's on Dogster!

Okay, so I've never really met Sophie. But I've smelled her, 'cause Mom's been to her Mom's house before, and we kidna comunicate through smell. And messaging. Anyyywaaay, I'm really excited because now she's on Dogster and she's so cool! Plus her cousin is on Dogster now, too, even though I don't really know HER, but apparently her name is sugar and she's part Aussie, like me! Sweet! But Mom knows her owner, who's Sophie's owner's cousin, so I guess she must be okay.

I'm really hyper today, if you can't tell.

Happy Halloween! Late, of course.

Well, Halloween has past. It was great. Of course, I'm too skittish to go out and great trick-or-treaters (plus I'd eat the candy), so I just stayed inside and Mom dressed me up in my pirate costume. Mom did hand out candy, though; She was dressed as a medival... person... and she had a sword, just like me!

ARR! I have my Halloween costume!!

Yes, Mom finally got to my Halloween constume! I'm a pirate! I absoloutly LOVE pirates, 'specially Pirates of the Caribbean! (The dog in the movie rules, thought Mom seems to lean more towards Jack e_e) Anyways, I have a red bandana and a wooden sword, as you can plainly see in the picture. Mom wanted to use the striped pirate pants, too, but I hated them and they were too big, so we just went with the bandana and the sword. I love my costume, though, and I think it's really cool, even though it is simple. Of course, I'm not going trick-or-treating with Mom and Hugo's Mom, but they say they'll make doggie cookies for us instead, so I'm happy.

Wowwie, it's been a while!!

Wow, my last entry was on my b-day, June 10! I haven't been on in FOREVER!
Anyways, I came back to find that Dogster has a currency! Wows! Unfortunately, it requires real money to get Zealies to give presents, but oh well. I can't wait to give my special friend Hugo a star or a colorful rosette!
Mom's been thinking about entering me into the World's Greatest Dog and Cat contest, though probably not. But look for my entry once in a while to see if she changed her mind!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEE!!

Hooray! A year ago today I was adopted, so it was my birthday! I got six presents from my family. The first is a chair. Okay, it was just a dining room chair, but Mom gave it to me offically and put it by the window and named it my "Thinking Chair". That's because I love staring out the window, and now I won't have to stand anymore. I can sit! The present from Mom was this tennis ball thing with a tennis ball on each end and a tennis bally-ish thing in the middle. Kinda hard to descrive. Anyway, Mom's father gave me two bandanas: A yin-yang one that matches his exactly and a gray classic one that looks kinda like one of his. Mom's brother gave me a little red Kong ball, and my sister Cinnamon gave me a bone with beef in the mdidle. (I'm already halfway through that-Mom had to take it away so I wouldn't get sick from eating all of it in one night!) Next weekend I will probably meet Hugo and Luke at the dog park for a party. Mom's gonna bake a doggy cake using a recipe she got from a book and I'm going to get presents from my friends! Oooh I am so happy I can hardly stand it!

WAAAHH!!!!! MOMMY'S LEEEEAAAVIIINGGG!!!

Tomorrow Mom is leaving until Friday! She is going to Washington DC with her friend Hannah- WITHOUT ME!!!! Hannah's doggy, Hugo, who is my best friend, isn't going, either. I reeeeeeaaallllllyyyy wanna go to DC! That would be sooo cool, and they're staying in a nice hotel! Oh, I can't wait until Mommy gets back from the trip!!!!

The best things about spring... and the worst

Since it is now offically spring (OFFICAL means the weather is actually warm now!) I decided to list the best things about spring and the worst. So here goes:

The best things of spring are...
1. It is warm enough to go on long walks.
2. The bugs! Chase chase chase chase chase!
3.All those pretty flowers.
4. The sun warms up that spot by the window that's so comfterable to lay on.
5. Onion grass! Mmmmmm...

The worst things of spring are...
1. The rain. I hate water!
2. The bugs! I'm done chasing you now, so GO AWAY!
3. The sprinkler that sprays water on you when you're not expecting it.
4. The squirrels. Grrrrrrr....
5. Shedding! More fur on the carpet means MORE VACUM CLEANER!! Eeek!

DOG OF THE DAY?!?

Wow! Yesterday I got on Dogster and found a bunch of rosettes. They were all congratulating me for Dog of the Day! WHAT?!? The one day I wasn't on Dogster I was dog of the day?!? Oh well. I'm still reeeeeaaally happy! Maybe next time I'll get Dog of the Week!

Yay! The woods rock!

Today I went for a three and a half hour hike with Mom in the woods near our house. They are right by the cemetary, so they are called "The Cemetary Woods". Anyway, these woods are a heaven for dogs who love the outdoors. First of all there is a creek running through the whole woods. At its deepest it is about to my hips, and it has plenty of rocks to stand on if you don't want to get wet. I always like to splash around, though! The trail seemed to go on forever. Me and Mom didn't even get through half of it today! It has alot of different trees, and so many animals. In fact, today we even saw a deer walk right out of the bushes! I was so excited I wanted to chase it so I could play with it, but I was on a leash. After that we saw a women with two dogs. One was kind of mean and growled at me as we passed, but the other was a pup my age and was very friendly. As her owner moved away, the dog would run back to us, go back, run back to us, go back, and so on until the distance between us was to big for her to come back to us again. Then we saw them again because they took the loop and Mom noticed the kinda mean dog was limping. She was afraid maybe I hurt him when he growled at me (yeah right! I was so afraid I backed up against a tree and begged for mercy!) but she asked his owner, and she said that he had three legs. (I don't know why I didn't notice that the first time!) It's amazing, though. He was born with a birth defect, and he had to have his leg amputated right away. His owner got him when he was three months old. Since he was that age he's been walking on the trail almost every day. Walking on the trail with three legs! I was amazed and impressed. I saw them once again later, but that was the last time. It was pretty cool though!
