Best Tricks: Can go to her cage upstairs when you just point towards the steps, knows the words "on your mark, get set, GO!", is a very fast learner
Arrival Story: I was a surprise for my Mom! I was adopted from a local pound after Mom's dad fell in love with me and just HAD to get me whether Mom's mother liked it or not! :D
Bio: _________________________________ Me: Hi, my name is Pepper (my middle name is Salt and I have two last names, one of them is County, that is the one that is not my Mom’s name). I am a mutt, thought I am mostly Australian Shepherd. I am extremely hyper and love to play, and I love to smile and make people laugh. (I have a hilarious sense of humor!) I enjoy bugging my sister, staring out of the window, and running around like a maniac and running in to things just to make someone laugh.
_________________________________ Social problem:As friendly as I may seem (because Australian Shepherds generally love to make friends), I am frightened of strangers. I am also afraid of all these things: Garbage bags, chairs, baskets, hats, anything that moves that is not alive, anything that makes a noise and is not alive, cameras that make big flashes, other dogs, and water are just a few.
_________________________________ Toys: Mom gets a lot of toys for me! I love to play with all of them, no matter what shape or size. My favorites are my huge tug toy and Cinnamon’s toy, which a sometimes manage to steal. I also have three balls, one tug toy that is not rope but made of three rings, and a bunch of others. I am pampered.
_________________________________ Food: I have to say that Food is probably one of my favorite things in the world. You won’t find a dog crazier about it. Every morning I bark and yelp to wake Mom up so she can get me out of my crate and feed me. Then, when she does feed me, I jump up and down, howling and putting my paws on the counter and stove and anything else that is supposed to be out of my reach. Sometimes Mom worries that I’m going to kill someone over my food, BOL.
_________________________________ Reading: Though I know how to read, I prefer not to, but I love books anyway, because Mom reads to me! They’re mostly dog books, like Travels with Charlie and Because of Winn-Dixie, but sometimes she reads me books like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.
_________________________________ Television and movies: I like TV, just not as much as books. My favorite TV show is “The Planet’s Funniest Animals” on Animal Planet. My goal is to get on that show someday! My favorite movie is Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.
_________________________________ Best friends: My two best friends in the whole world are Hugo, a black Cocker Spaniel/Lab mix, and Luke, a Shetland Sheepdog. I love going on walks with them! Hugo is mostly calm, peaceful, and very independent. Luke is a herding dog like me, so he's a bit more hyper. We love walking around the neighborhood for an hour or two.
_________________________________ Bye: Well, I can’t talk forever, well, maybe I can, but I don’t exactly want to right now. So P-mail me and maybe we can be Pup Pals! Update! OMD I was Dog of the Day! The one day I wasn't on Dogster it happened, and all of the sudden the next day I notice all the rosettes! Thanks to everyone who congratulated me- I'm hoping for Dog of the Week next time!

Yay! A while ago I lose my name tag on my collar, and now I have a new one! It's big and shiny and purple and it has me name on it and it has Mom's address on the back I mean how cool is that? I am really hyper today and Sophie wrote about me in her diary after I wrote about her and I like Milkbones and I really want to play at the moment. Goodbye. Did I mention my new name tag? And Milkbones. I loooove Milkbones. Guess what else? Cinnamon did NOT get a new name tag! So there! Ha-ha! But I did. And it's big and shiny and purple. Did I mention that? Oh? Well, goodbye now.

Okay, so I've never really met Sophie. But I've smelled her, 'cause Mom's been to her Mom's house before, and we kidna comunicate through smell. And messaging. Anyyywaaay, I'm really excited because now she's on Dogster and she's so cool! Plus her cousin is on Dogster now, too, even though I don't really know HER, but apparently her name is sugar and she's part Aussie, like me! Sweet! But Mom knows her owner, who's Sophie's owner's cousin, so I guess she must be okay.
Well, Halloween has past. It was great. Of course, I'm too skittish to go out and great trick-or-treaters (plus I'd eat the candy), so I just stayed inside and Mom dressed me up in my pirate costume. Mom did hand out candy, though; She was dressed as a medival... person... and she had a sword, just like me!
