Arrival Story:
Well, my husband and I bought our first dachshund, Ellie, almost 2 years ago. She seemed a little lonely while we were at work and decided she needed a companion. So we started looking...we looked and looked and finally we talked to this nice woman in East Texas. She had three puppies, so we drove out to East Texas and brought Jack home with us. Of course, we had yet to know that he was a complete goof ball with the attention span of a knat. But, of well, he keeps Ellie busy and they love to annoy each other.
