Favorite Walk: Anywhere Best Tricks: Shake hands Arrival Story: Shania was taken to the vet at 7 months old to be put to sleep because her owners didn't want to deal with her health problems (Demodectic Mange). Thankfully, the vet is a wonderful person. He took their money and instead of putting her to sleep, he used that towards her treatment. Because we have a dog that has the same issues, he asked if we would foster her while he cared for her. Well, that was a long time ago and she's still with us! Bio: When Shania arrived at the vet she had very large sores all over her body. Dr. Leahy had to shave most of her hair off to treat them.
