Rigby I can't thank you enough for the spirit you've given me. I am inspired by your rescue story and I am comforted everyday when you snuggle next to me under the covers. You are my baby boy and my precious pup.

I love you kid.

This is a special Tail of Devotion

So Mom and Dad finally decided on a new sister for me. Her name is Roxy and you can see her in my "Family" Section.

She is a pain in my rear end

A Little Sister!

I might be getting a little sister, my mommy says. She will be a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and she will come from my old Corgi buddy, Mac. My parents have been trying to adopt a sister for me for a loooong time now and it just hasn't worked out. Good thing I know people!

I'll keep everyone updated on arrival times... She might be flying in from the Midwest, from Mac's parents. Boy, will she like California! Mom and Dad are still thinking of names. So far, they like Roxy and Rascal.

The Stairs Strike Again

So I think I am over my sudden onset fear of the stairs. Basically if my parents ignore me, I can climb them fine... it's only if they make it a big deal that I start to get anxious and cry. (Usually it gets me lots of hugs and sympathy!)

I think they're wising up to me now. They just got a Gentle Leader collar and now I have to actually heel. I knew what it meant before but I could get away with not doing it before. Now Mom says I am very good pup and my little rear plops right to the ground when we stop to cross streets! I get cookies because I am so good now!

My Best Friend in the Whole Wide World

My best friend is a silly big Borzoi named Cosmo. Pretty much I'm in love with her. Both our parents call us "twitterpated." She's so leggy, I can't help it.

Our favorite past time is to run around the yard, mostly with her chasing me. That's how you do it men! My little stubby legs can go so fast! She can keep up if she wants, but it's more fun for her to bound after me like a hyper colt. I twist and go under bushes and sidestep all over and outfox her. It's so much fun! My mom says I have a big goofy grin on my face the whole time. I even don't mind if it's wet outside if I am with my little honey.

Yesterday I decided I was afraid of my stairs. I am not even sure why but now I won't go up and down them without help from my mom, even though I have been living with these stairs everyday for the better part of six months. Truth is, I slipped on them yesterday and now I am afraid I'll do it again. :(

When can I go see Cosmo again?

Playing with Mom

Today I played with my mom during my Rawhide Toss game. Usually I play by myself. I toss my rawhide bone into the air and chase it. And then I catch and toss it again! My mom says it reminds her of a TV dog, Wishbone, that used to toss his tennis balls. It's my favorite game ever!
