Arrival Story:
I saw Jake on Petfinder.com and drove about an hour to go get him. He fit in perfectly here with no adjustment time-like he had been here before and was home again. No one adopted Jake from the shelter for three weeks because he was so depressed in the cage that he never went to the door to say Hi to anyone. Once he was out, he was a completely different dog.

Bio:
Jake has pulmonic stenosis, which is a heart condition that he was born with. He cannot do extended high activities, and I have to keep a close eye on him. Jake likes to sleep in bed with his Mom and kitty brother at night, rides perfectly in the car, and loves to meet new friends.
