Arrival Story:
Chloe was at the animal control when I got her. I had just lost another Border Collie, Mollie, who I dearly miss and her buddy Alex (a cat!) is devistated over his loss of his best friend. We decided to just call and see if they had a border collie puppy that wasnt to little, but not to old either. We wanted to get a puppy this time, Mollie was 2 years old when we had gotten her, and we always felt cheated out of knowing her past and knowing her from the begining. We called, and they had one just the right age and so we went to see her. We decided to wait and think till that weekend (2 days away) when they would have the big adoption day so we wouldnt be jumping into anything. We went and she was still there, and we got her right away. She is so sweet, and has become one of my "babies" along with the 6 cats and her big brother Jacob, a cheasapeake bay retriever. We have a furry family larger than that of our human family!
