Arrival Story:
When I bought my house and became my own landlord, one of the first things I wanted to do was to get a dog. I wanted a bigger breed that would have an intimidating bark, but I also wanted one that would be sweet and gentle with my cat and fun for me to play and hang out with. I always loved yellow Labs and thought that would be a perfect choice. Someone I work with heard me talking about it and told me he had a client with a litter of Lab pups that were ready for homes. The rest, as they say, is history.

Tillie passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesay morning, May 4th, 2004. She will be missed more than words could ever express. Tillie wass one of the sweetest, most good-natured dogs you could ever have hoped to meet. She was great with kids (even though she never lived with any), she was always up for a game of "living room hockey", she played well with other dogs (even her goofy Basset Hound brother, Norman), she was very respectful of Scout (my cat) and she always knew when I was in serious need of a dog kiss.
