Leave a bone for maverick

Nicknames: mee-mee, mavy, rat dog

Quick Bio:
Likes: to be held, giving kisses, car rides, just being with the family

Pet-Peeves: Maggie the monster basset, vaccum cleaners, the mail man

Favorite Toy: any toy she can get from maggie

Favorite Food: blueberries and green peppers are a favorite, anything the "hoover" maggie doesn't already have in her mouth

Favorite Walk: anywhere, the longer the better

Best Tricks: walking on her hind legs, sitting (up) pretty, shake, and boy can she jump

Arrival Story: Maverick came from a unhappy home. She was treated very poorly so we decided to offer to take her into our home, and were lucky enough to get her. She has been with us for 5 years. She is very cautious around stangers and very protective of her home. But I wouldn't trade her for any other.

For 4 years I was the only dog in the house, then out of the blue my mom and dad bring home this thing they called a puppy. She was very small, with huge ears. Right from the beginning I knew that dog would be trouble. She has been in the house for a year now, and it seems like she's always getting me in trouble. Everytime mom and dad leave she gets into something or tears up the garbage. The one day the family left; maggie got the box of dog treats off the shelf and tore the whole box apart and ate all the bones. When mom got home we both got in trouble for it, mom said she knew i had to of snuck at least one or two past maggie. Yeah, so maybe i did but it was still her fault. Plus maggie is always going into our girls room and getting all her stuffed animals out and leaving them all over the house. Not to mention ripping the hair out of her dolls heads. So now mom put a gate up so neither of us can go in there. I hope she knows that I can jump over it, haha. I go in there when I need time to myself. I half expect to see that big old dork start flapping her ears and fly over it one of these days. But the biggest way she gets us in trouble is going potty on the floor, everybody has accidents, but come on. Maggie is an accident waiting to happen. Mom yells and says, Who did it? Maggie starts barking and pointing her ears at me. Whats a good dog like me suppose to do??
