My life as a mini-labradoodle

It's been awhile...

I'm sorry I haven't been keeping up with my diary entries. I have been a busy doodle! At the beginning of May, my parents and their friends took me and all my doggie friends to Lake Anna for the weekend. We all had a blast and it was fun getting to swim with Wasaki, Layla and even Casper jumped in a few times! We basically spent the whole weekend chasing after one another while our parents bbbq'ed and hung out. Boy were we all tired by Sunday.

Then in June I got to go to the beach which was a lot of fun. I spent a lot of time laying on the beach and romping around in the waves. My mom even snuck into the water with me one evening even though she had already showered and changed for the night--she couldn't resist chasing after me in the waves! My favorite part of the trip was being able to spend all day with my parents who didn't have to leave me to go to work. It was great!

I've also taken lots of little trips on the weekends up to the mountains and to my grandparent's house a few times. I like the change of scenery but am always happy to be back home to my bed and toys.

My parents told me we'll be taking another week long trip to the beach in September, I can't wait!!!

This weekend was a real blast! My parents took me for a nice long walk to a place I'd never been before. At first I thought we were just going to turn around and walk home, but all of a sudden they walked me up to a fence, opened the gate, closed it, and then my favorite thing happened...they took off my leash! I was able to run around free and I just loved it. It gets better, inside this fence is a playground with a bridge, a balance beam, and best of all, two slides! I just love running across the bridge to the slide and sliding down. It is such a blast. I even try to run back up the slide, which I have yet to accomplish, but I think if I keep working on it, one day I'll make it all the way back up. I was very thankful that my parents took me on such a fun adventure, I hope we get to do it again soon.
