Sitting up pretty, giving four, and lots of sugar!

Arrival Story:
She was turned in to San Francisco Animal Care and Control when she was discovered to be living in a storage unit. That turned out to be a better option, because after she passed her temperament test with flying colors, they put her on death row because she pulled on her leash! Cindy at Reunion Rescue got her and says she has never, ever been sorry she rescued her from ACC. She is a wonderful absolute love and has no issues, none! She goes to the dog park every day and lives with six dogs at our boarding facility, Home at Last, where the dogs range from itty bitty to biggy wiggies and she just never meets a stranger, loves everybody! Update: I met Cindy in Austin and I had just lost my beloved Rosie to cancer. I asked Cindy if she knew of any adult pits who needed a home and she told my to go see Tutti Fruitti on the Reunion adoption page. Needless to say I fell in love with the beautiful girl in the hot pink tutu. Within the week Cindy made all the arrangements and we picked baby Eliza (as she is now known) up at the airport. She is such a love, I am blessed to have her.

Now that she is in a loving, safe, stable enviroment she is blossoming. She has become a true companion always on the upbeat. Eliza likes to go on many walks in one day to sooth her high energy level. She loves to cuddle up on the coach and she really likes Animal Planet. She literally watches it. She has become quiet the bed hog too. She wants to be close and that usually means on top of you. I think she is really enjoying herself. She finally has the life she deserves. Spoiled? Of course!

I love Peanut Butter

The other day Mom was in on her computer and I was feeling a little ignored, so I decided to snoop around a little. I saw Mom's bag that she takes to work sitting on the chair open so I pulled it down to look inside. Score! A peanut butter sandwich and red licorice. Yum! I took into my crate so she wouldn't see me and woofed it all down. It was the best thing I've ever tasted. I guess I made to much noise because Mom came in just as I was finished and asked me what I was doing. I had wrappers all in my crate and hanging on my head, BUSTED! She told me 'No' and closed the door so I had to stay in there for awhile. It was totally worth it.

Yesterday Mom Gaye took me to Mom Cindy's house to play with my boyfriend Sugar Magoo. We chased each other around the yard and he gave me love nips on the neck. I love him! Then we all went down to the lake where I went in over my head (a little scarry) but Magoo wouldn't follow. I don't think he likes the water much. We played chase again. I got him in the water up to his shoulders and he jumped out. I chased him up this hill then I jumped off the cliff that is about 15ft. high. I heard my humans calling my name and looking kinda scarred as I hit the ground! Wow, that was much higher than I thought. I skinned my chin and scraped my pads a little. I got right up and chased Magoo some more. Humans are so sensative. I am really having a great life in Texas!

Wow! Yesterday I went to Townlake at my new home in Austin, Tx. What a swell place. I romped, swam, dunked my head in the water and said 'Woof' to all who would pet me. Boy, life is sweet!
