Arrival Story:
We adopted Ginger in 1963 when she was a baby. She was the progeny of an accidental mating in the neighborhood

Ginger liked to chase pheasants in the field in Medford. She would circle the pheasant - leaping up once in a while to keep her bearings - all the while tightening her circle until she was able to jump on the confused pheasant. She also liked to steal the fish out of a barrel that the neighbors kept those fish in until they were ready to eat them. Ginger was very protective. When our dad and brother used to wrestle, Ginger used to grab my dad by the arm and attempt to pull him off of Terry - without ever breaking skin. She was a great and loyal friend. She is missed to this day.
