My New Sister

So, a few months ago mommy brings home a new dog ( this is normal because she watches dogs all the time ) and says that she is going to stay with us for about two weeks. I didn't mind because I like playing with other dogs.

As the weeks went by, I started to realize that this new dog wasn't going away. Then I overheard mommy saying that she wanted to adopt her. I couldn't believe it! I have always been the center of her attention and now I have to share it with another dog?!

I'm kind of getting used to having another dog around all the time now and I kind of like it. The only time I don't like it is when mom gets upset because Sadie had an accident. That's when I go up to mom and give her lots of kisses to make her feel better.

It's been a busy month

This past month has been really crazy. First I got really sick and had to go to the vet. They put me on some medicine to make me feel better. I was kind of sad though because I couldn't go to doggie daycare ( that's where my mommy works). I missed getting to play with with all of my friends. Then I had to go to the vet last week because I had a run in with another dog and got a bite on my cheek, but it wasn't too bad. I'm just glad I got to go back to the daycare the next day because I always get upset when my mommy leaves me home.

MY BIRTHDAY!

Today is my Birthday and it's hard to believe that i am finally a year old. It's funny, I don't feel any different. I did get some presents from Mommy. I got a nice new papasan bed and I also got a pair of swim trunks for the summer. It matches my doggie cousin's bathing suit. Mommy says that she is going to make a Birthday cake for me tonight, although I'm not sure what that is exactly. I am just so excited!

My Mommy's Birthday

Today is my mommy's Birthday. We don't have the other bostons today so I got her all to myself. She took me on a long walk and I got to wear a t-shirt. My mom got the shirt all wet so that I wouldn't get too hot. I love my mommy so much.

Dogs, dogs, everywhere

The past few weeks have been great! There have been three extra dogs in our house because my mommy does what she calls " Dogsitting". I don't care what you call it, just as long as I have fun in the process. Right now there are two other Bostons just like me and one is just a month younger. We love to wrestle in the grass, fight over sticks, and chase a lot of tennis balls. We also have over a little silkie terrier, but I don't play with him very much because he doesn't like to play like me. He can also be kind of bossy sometimes. My mommy put up a dog door the other day and now she doesn't have to let the dogs out all the time. At first I wasn't too sure about it, but now I love going through it because I get to go outside whenever I want!
