Arrival Story:
Darby came to live with us when she was only 4 weeks old. She came from a kennel in Northern Idaho (Hayden Lake). She was the runt of the litter, but we loved her crooked mask and feisty attitude.

Bio:
Darby had to have both of her knees replaced at the age of 7. She just turned 11 years old, and getting along even better than she has in years! She had TPLO surgery performed on both knees by the WSU Veterinary Hospital in Pullman, WA. It is a fabulous hospital and they really care about the animals they treat. Thanks, Dr. Michele Powers! Darby was voted "Pet of the Month" by her Veterinary Clinic in Moscow, in May 2009. She received some fabulous gifts and her name was on the Clinic's sign for the month. We were very proud of her!
