Arrival Story:
I am a vet tech for a Kennel which does a lot of rescue. I see a lot of Pit Bulls who came from unfortunate circumstances and I decided that I wanted to help one out. The problem was I already had 4 dogs and they are sometimes dog aggressive. When I arrived at work one day Atreyu was in a kennel to get neutered. One of my co workers told me that his family of 11 years took him to a kill shelter because the breed was banned in their city. The Kansas Pit Bull Resuce President saw him there and pulled him out. I was told that he got along with other dogs and cats so I asked to foster him knowing at 11 years old he would be hard to place. He is now a permanment member of our family. He is the best dog I have ever owned. He goes a lot of places with me because he is so content just hanging out in the car. I love him so much and all I want is as many years as possible to spend with him. Visit us at kspitbullrescue.com

Bio:
I'm the only dog who gets to sleep in my mom and dad's room. Our house is small and I am priveleged because I am so good and my mom wants me to have to best life possible as long as I live. For 11 years old I am extremely playfull and I am in excellent shape. I am so grateful for Kansas Pit Bull Rescue and for the warm soft bed that I sleep on every night and most of the day.
