When his cats, Pete & Bella taunt him by lying just out of reach or when they smack him on the nose! Being told 'no'.

Favorite Toy:
Anything that belongs to the cats and he loves tennis balls, rawhide and squeaky toys. He also likes to drag socks and undies all over the house!

Favorite Food:
He eats everything. He really likes banana chips tho. He likes cheese spread or peanut butter in his Kong toy.

Favorite Walk:
He hasn't gone to the fun places yet (like the forest preserve) it's been too cold!

Best Tricks:
He can shake and lie down. He also smiles (that is the Dalmatian in him!)

Arrival Story:
Sam was one of 13 puppies that was born on Thanksgiving Day to a Dalmatian mom and a Border Collie dad. The owner of his mom threw the puppies in the garbage and then called the humane society to rescue them. We found him on petfinder.org and adopted him (at 11 weeks old) thru a local shelter. Of the 13 puppies (12 boys and a girl) the girl died before they found them and of the 12 boys, only two had a 'naturally cropped' tail .. Sam is one of them. No one knows why two of the pups had a short tail.. it's a scientific mystery!

Bio:
Sam is what we call a 'Dalmatian in disguise!'.. he's all spotted underneath and looks like he's wearing a black cape and hood. Sam is also super smart! He was potty trained almost instantly. He can use his Yuppy Puppy Treat Machine and he's learning to take mommy to the treat cabinet when he 'needs' a goodie! He has been attending puppy kindergarten and he knows how to sit, lie down, shake and come. He barks if he doesn't get what he wants. He is also a BILLY GOAT!
