1-I am half Border Collie, half Australian Shephard with short hair.
2-I like to eat socks, wash cloths and toys.
3-I have the intelligence of a three year old hooman.
4-I wish I could still sit on TT and Daddy's laps when they are driving in the car.
5-I could stare at the squirrellies in the trees for hours!
6-TT and Daddy say I'm fat and try to make me lose weight, but I sneak some of Shiloh's food when they aren't looking!
7-I ruv that little Shiloh.

The cows were so close to me I could almost taste hamburger!

The cows were so close to me! I wanted so bad to herd them into a circle! I begged, I barked, I whined, I pulled on my leash, but Daddy would not let me go! The cows were even black and white just like me! I wasn't going to hurt them, just herd them and bring them back to their owner. Arrrrr..... I was giving them the "eye" and they were moving closer to me when all of a sudden.... "ARROOOOOOO!!!!" Shiloh ruined it! He scared them away. Dog-gone-it, Shiloh!
After our walk we went back inside and Shiloh and I played and wrestled. I don't understand it. I used to be able to hide under the bed when I was a pup, but whenever Shiloh runs under I try to chase after him, all that fits under there is my head. Not fair!
Well, I'm off to do some more exciting new adventures with my parents and buddy Shiloh!

Sheep Are Better Than Beagles

I wish that Shiloh was a sheep. Sheep are so much easier to herd than those little Beagles. Sometimes my Border Collie stare and circling just don't work on him. I don't get it. Herding comes naturally for us Border Collies, but Shiloh just doesn't understand that when I herd him he has to go where I tell him to! But he just keeps wandering around with his nose on the ground. I try to figure out what he's sniffing, but I don't get it! When we go on walks he is all zig-zaggy, so I lean in to tell him that he has to walk in a straight line.... but he walks under me. And when we're in the field playing, wow does he run fast. I have to make sure he doesn't run into the woods, but it's hard to keep up with him! When he is sniffing around in the tall grass it is so much easier to get him there! He doesn't even see me coming, and before he knows it I already brought him back to my parents!

Those Young Pups....

What a brilliant idea my parents had..... bringing home a young pup into MY house. His name is Shiloh. Yeah yeah, he's sooooo cute. Long floppy ears, big brown eyes. Well, let me tell you, he was not so cute when he tried to play with MY toys and eat MY treats. Grrrr. I'll admit, at first I wasn't too fond of the idea of another doggie in my house. But now, I kinda like the kid. He's actually a lot of fun. I now have someone to wrestle with and play tug-of-war with all day long. We had a lot of fun yesterday running through the field together. I really like being a big brother!

Dog Days of Summer

My favorite show this summer has been "The Greatest American Dog!" I ruv that show so much. Me and my TT and Daddy watch it. We were woofing for Star and Bill and I was so sad that she got expelled last week. Arrooo :-( So now we are woofing for Leroy and Theresa! Leroy is a Border Collie just like me! He's so smart and is black and white just like me too! Arf!
There aren't too my squirrellies at my new house :-( But, I did find one to stalk in this tree around the corner! Heh heh. And there was this black and white dog that I saw the other day and I wanted to go up and say woof to him. But he broke his necklace and came running at me and tried to bite me. But my TT saved me. What a mean dog - grrrr. So I spotted him yesterday on my walk and I barked and barked. I showed him who was top dog. He won't bother me again or my TT will show him. Arrooo.
I saw on the news that doggies in Louisiana had to be saved from the big scary storm. I asked my TT and Daddy if we can go and bring one home. They said it was too far, but not to worry because there are nice humans who are taking good care of them. I don't understand how a human dog can leave there dog all alrone when the scary storms come. Don't they know that the dogs will help them not be scared during the storm and will keep them safe? I would never let any scary storm hurt my humans.
Well, it's time for my doggie nap! Only 10 more rowwers until I get to watch Leroy!!

Arroooo

So my TT and Daddy get this brilliant idea to move to a new house. Well that's fine, but the new house has slippery wood floors and I can't run anymore! Everytime I run I slip and slide. My TT and Daddy think it's soooo funny, but it's not. Arf. There aren't any squirrels, but I did see a bunny! And there are bunches of other dogs!
Me and my TT have been watching "The Greatest American Dog." I RUV that show! I like Leroy because he is a Border Collie like me. And I like Star because I think she so cute! My TT tells me that we are going to go on that show together and we will win!

My Mom-Mom Gena and Great-Mom-mom Marie came to visit me last week! Arroooo! We had so much-Mom Gena took me on walks. We went to the dog park, but there weren't any other pups there to play with. That's okay! I got to run around and play it was fun! I found a squeeky ball that I was able to take home. I'm just sad that they are closing down that dog park :-(

I'm sad because one of my fishies died. That's okay, I still have one left!

I watched my Mommy and Daddy carve this big round thing yesterday. They made it look all scary with a ghost on it! It smell good enough to eat, but they put it up high on the big brown thing that shows pictures so I can't reach it - grrrrr.

I found out that Halloween time is almost here. Last year my Mommy and Daddy dressed me up as a Race-Car Dog. They put this silly hat on me and took me to the store. Can you imagine! They thought I was cute - I just wanted to bite that hat right off! I'm glad that I'm not dressing up this year. I guess my Mommy thinks I'll just eat my costume again - hehe, my plan worked :)

A Dog's Life

Woof Woof!

What a day! I woke up this morning and went on a squirrel stalking walk (aka - my usual morning walk). Didn't catch any though, darnit! Then I ate breakfast, played with my toys and took a nap. After I woke up, TT came home from work and we went on another squirrel chasing adventure! Almost caught one, but the darn little thing got away from me! Then I ate dinner, played with kong, played catch, scratched my butt against the side of the cage (ahhhh, it feels sooo good!), slept, jumped all over the furniture, and went out chasing squirrels again! It's harder though when it's dark. Then, I came in, and now it's time for bed! Whew! What an exhausting day!

I know I haven't written one of these in a long time, but I've been pretty busy! Since I last wrote in here, me and my family moved. I ruv where we live now - we're closer to the park and there are ducks and squirrels all over the place! I ruv to sit by the window and watch the squirrels. One time my daddy even let the door wide open so I could go out and play. I chased all the ducks and the peacock into the water! It was SO fun! My daddy was even chasing after me!

It's Bay Bay again! Summer is sooooo hot! I can't wait til I can go up to Pennsylvania and play in the snow! I graduated from Intermediate Training. Soon I can go into Agility. TT told me it is fun and she thinks that I'll be good at it.
