Arrival Story:
I do small breed rescue and was contacted about a very young puppy someone had set out on a ladies porch. I went to pick her up and found that she was NOT a small breed at all but took her in anyway. To get legal custody of her we had to take her to the shelter to see if her owners claimed her, which of course they did not. While at the shelter they found that she had ringworm! She stayed there for a while until she got better. I brought her home and put her up for adoption on our Small Breed website. We had abosolutly NO interest in her and I couldn't stand the thought of her actually leaving so I just adopted her myself.

Bio:
The reason my crazy mom put the picture of me with my "naked butt" is to show my boo-boo after knee surgery. I had luxating patella and the doctor had to go in and fix it, I did not like this one bit! I had to stay in that crate thing and be walked on a leash, so that meant to doggie door or fenced yard to run in! I am all better now and I get to run all the time and my knee feels much better too.

My snow day

My snow day

Bo got to write about his day so here is mine.
We got up to a great snow this morning, Bo has not seen much snow but I already knew what it was all about so I had to show him how fun it was.
We ran around the yard and I tried to find my toys I had left out the day before but it was too hard with all of that snow.
After we came in and ate breakfast it was time to feed the goats (my favorite time of the day) see, I am the only one that gets to go with mom to do this.
I got to go in the snow that was untouched my other doggie feet and boy was that nice!
When we got over the hay shed mom spilled some the goat pellets which is like sweet feed stuff.
Anyway, I ate it right up before she could stop me, she said it shouldn't hurt me though, hurt me how could something that yummy hurt me? Plus those silly goats eat it so it must be fine.
So then we got to take the hay and feed to the goats, I keep my distance from those things, did you know that they have horns? Big ones!
After feeding them I got to run a little in the pasture which is always fun, I do it every day but it is still like brand new every day.
The rest of the day was pretty laid back, since the doggie door has to be closed at all times now, we have to go only out when mom says.
Oh, the reason it is closed is because of my dumb brother Bo, he likes to jump the fence so he ruined it for all of us! Thanks Bo!!!!
Mom says we are getting a new fence and maybe we can use the dog door again some day, I sure hope so.
Bye for now.
