Ouch.

Broke another tooth. Probably from grinding my teeth of the stress of Jake always getting the attention lately.

Tooth surgery scheduled this week (it's not a bad break and isn't bothering me but it should still come out) in Eastern Washington. Hopefully the car ride over won't be hugely boring... no cats to chase. Or watch.

what, is this a new world order?

Jake seems to have taken over the house as the spoiled, pampered, babied dog. What is up with that??

Ok, I admit I was pretty upset when he left on Monday without me and didn't come back that night. I got sick and coughed up things on the floor. I stopped eating. I moped. But it was only because I didn't have my minion, Jake, to push around. It's not like I really like him or anything. But who would clean my ears if he was gone? Who would keep me warm by snuggling up with me? I know my human does both of those things, but it isn't the same.

Jake came back on Tuesday afternoon and smelled funny. He wouldn't play with me, he just went to sleep on the bed. My appetite immediately returned though.

He is still limping around and my human is putting him in the soft crate whenever she leaves. He can only go outside on a leash! Why all this attention? Just because he is limping? I don't get it!! Maybe I should start limping.
