Arrival Story:
In the spring of 1995, we were living in the Bay Area with our beloved pom, Larry. One day Larry looked at us and said "I love you guys, but it's not the same as having a having a four-legged friend." So we went in search of another pup. We saw a little red long-haired doxie, all ears, on her back in the kennel throwing her water bowl in the air and knew she was the one for us! My first question for my husband was "...what should we name Molly?" Once home, she loved to run with big brother Larry. The faster she ran, inertia would take over and her big puppy head would pull her to the side. Molly would tumble over and over, hop up and start running again!

Bio:
Molly has canine disc disease and ruptured a disc in her back in February 2000. She was paralyzed and was fortunate to have had surgery hours later. We're happy to report she was walking 21 days later and only used her "wheels" twice before deciding she no longer needed them! She's a happy, healthy lizard hunter who bears no signs of her earlier challenge. :-)
