Arrival Story:
Soon after the loss of our beloved pomeranian, Larry, my husband Derrick insisted that we were lacking a member of the family, and our sweet Molly doxie needed a four-legged friend. How could I possibly think of another pup?! Derrick could not be detered and searched high and low for the perfect pup. He found a little black pomeranian with white racing stripe down his forehead and said "that's our boy!" I lifted myself out of grieving for Larry and grudgingly took a look at the pom picture. Derrick was right - it was time for me to open my heart and how could I say no to those big brown eyes? The eyes of my husband and our doxie! On April 1st, 2000 I flew to Des Moines, Iowa to pick up our pup "Finch's Little Rompin' Russellmania" or Russell for short. I should have known he was a character when the breeder called and said "...he's ready to come home now!". Second clue? I walked into meet Russell for the first time and he, leading a pack of adorable pom pups, jumped up and threw himself against my legs. Russell had a mind of his own from the very beginning and was the perfect addition to our little family!

Russell has six agility titles: AKC Novice Standard, AKC Novice Jumpers with Weaves, AKC Open Standard, AKC Open JWW, USDAA Starters Standard and USDAA Starters Jumpers.
