Favorite Toy: Anything she can sneak by Jake

Favorite Food: Cheese!!!

Favorite Walk: The perimeters of my back yard, especially behind the brush

Best Tricks: She is still learning

Arrival Story: Maisy was found wandering the parking lot at an apartment complex in Nashville. The lady who saved her could not keep her; she has 2 Malamutes. She took her to Nashville Animal Control on 12/30. She then found my name on an Internet site that day, where I had posted that I was looking for a doodle rescue. She emailed me her picture and I fell in love with Maisy upon sight - even if she is not a doodle, just a precious, sweet poodle mix. She was finally released for adoption last week and I went to get her. She is now home with me and Jake. God bless you, Leah for saving her.

Bio: Maisy was at the Nashville Animal Control, which is a kill shelter. However, the ladies there seemed to love her - when I picked her up, a vet had spayed her, given her all her shots, treated her for a respiratory infection and they had bathed her. This little girl was being treated royally! She inspires love wherever she goes.

I just got here a couple of weeks ago but it already feels sort of like home. Patti doesn't know my history and I'm not talking about it. But she thinks I must have had a home since I'm around 4, my teeth look great and I know about housetraining, even though I don't always wait.
She got me a crate but I really don't like it. I am much more vocal than Jake about life, but she says he was pretty vocal when he was a puppy. Maybe it's just my size - I have to speak up to let her know when I am happy and when I am not. Jake is so big that you can't NOT be aware of him.
I am not sure I like him yet. He really is a big boy at 80+ lb and I am only 12 1/2 lbs. He is a gentle giant but could really hurt me! So I'm not giving him the chance - he knows I don't want him too close to me.
I'm pretty clever though, I can get to places that he can't. I go lie under the coffee table and he just lays right next to it with nose under it and cries. I think he wants to cuddle but are you kidding? If he rolled over, I'd be toast!
Patti really likes me and wants me to like Jake. I like her alot but she lets him too close when she is holding me. Can you tell I have definite opinions about my environment? I will be the princess, just wait.... :)
