Arrival Story:
My husband Matt bought Diego from a breeder when he was 8 weeks old. I met Diego and Matt when Diego was 1 1/2 years old. The first thing I did was take him to get neutered. Matt was in deperate need of someone's help because despite how many books he bought on JRT's, he was running out of patience with this one. It's a good thing I came along. Since then, he has asked me for another JRT, who happens to be mixed with Rat Terrier(see Maynard). He is definitely in love with these dogs. He can't get enough.
Bio:
Don Juan Diego just goes by Diego for short. No pun intended. He is a short legged Jack Russel Terrier and just as adorable as they come. The terrier in him makes him a little fiesty at times, as well as having little man's syndrome. Most of our other dogs are a lot taller than him and he gets stepped on a lot. This makes him very angry at times. He can walk underneath all of our other dogs, and he has more hiding places than them. He loves car rides because he gets to sit on my lap while the other's don't. Sometimes he gets to go to Iowa and visit grandma but not very often because he likes to mark spots in her house and this behavior gets him banned. Bark Busters is working with him on his marking problem and we hope to get it fixed. He just wants to be the coolest dog in the bunch. Since we don't love one dog more than the other, we think he is very cool.
