Escape Artist

Yesterday I became an escape artist. It was terribly exciting and fun. Mommy let me out to the back yard to do my buisness and play a bit. Then I noticed a dog in the neighbors yard and wanted to play with it. This is when I discovered my escape route!!! Between our wooden fence and our neighbours chain link fence there was a half a foot corridor in which I could escape to the neighbourhood to roam free. I was very excited and tried this at once. Then all of a sudden I heard Mommy yelling. She was in the yard wondering where I was. I could tell she was very worried as she was yelling my name very loud. But I waited until she was on the other side of the yard before I came back. I was very good because this way she didn't know how I had escaped. Since it was so fun, when she turned her back I escaped again. This time she yelled even louder! I new I was in trouble so I came back straight away. This time she saw me enter the yard and figured out how I got out. Later in the day Mommy and Daddy let me out again. I wanted to roam free so I went to my escape route, but I was dissapointed to find out they fixed the whole and I couldn't leave the back yard at all! :-(

Paint

Hi everyone. This is my first diary entry. I just wanted to tell you all how much I love paint. My human Aunt just bought a house and my Mommy and Daddy went to help paint it. In an effort to keep me away from the paint they put me in one of the spare bedrooms. But I am really really smart and figured out how to get out of there in 10 minutes. So they gave up putting me there and let me roam the house!!! That was best cuz then I got to spend time around Mommy and my Aunt and of course my cousin Scruffes( the dog).
I had a great time rubbing up against the wall and if Mommy or my Aunt were holding the rollers down i liked to walk under them to try and get more paint on them. By the end of the day Mommy and Daddy started calling me spotty! I don't think Mommy and Daddy liked that I had paint on me, cuz when I got home I had to have a bath! I got lucky though and didn't have to sit and get brushed out after the bath cuz Mommy was too tired from painting!

I hope I get to go painting tommorrow too!
