Arrival Story:
We were looking for a new dog after our last dog died. We had gone from shelter to shelter and didn't see one that seemed to match our needs. We were just about to leave a shelter when we saw a woman bringing Daisy in. She was about 8 months old and very scrawny. The woman found her and kept her for 10 days trying to find the owners but was unsucessful. We immediately knew we had to have her. After several treatments for worms and urinary problems, Daisy finally fattened up and has been a wonderful pet. She is full of energy and personality. We recently have a new addition to our family (a baby girl) and Daisy is an angel with her!

Bio:
I was featured in the brochure for the adoption agency I came from (Citizens for Humane Action in Westerville, Ohio). I just recently (3/05) received honorable mention as the Critter of the Week in the Halls Shopper, Knoxville TN.
