Arrival Story:
It was time to finally get a dog in my adult life. It had been 20 years since having a dog in my life and I finally bought a condo w/an enclosed backyard and have a job with a lot of flex time. I searched and searched and one day I found him. His family bred the mom just once and I knew the breeder of Dusty's dad. There were 5 males and 1 female in the litter. All of them had been spoken for, except one male. I drove over and knew in a hearbeat he was mine. Before leaving, I asked them to start calling him Dusty (yes, the name was already picked out) and 2 weeks later, we went to pick him up. Boy, was that scary - I had always had dogs during my childhood but was never responsible for one - yikes! Turns out, he was the pick of the litter!

Bio:
I still keep in contact with his mom's family and they even babysit for me on occassion:). Dusty has a 10 month old brother, Bandit!
