I earned my CGC...!

Well, I finally took my Canine Good Citizen test and I PASSED! YEAH. Mom was worried I wouldn't pass because of the "brush" test and the "strange obstacles" test. BUT, I did and she was so happy last night. She has been "wow'd" lately by my good behavior.

10/07/07 Agility Results

Ok - I did super this weekend. Today I qualified in 1 event at 1st place - Wildcard. Mom was real proud of me. I got 2 third places and 1 first place. I would've qualified in Standard today, but I missed a contact and got a fault that NQ'd me. That's ok. It was a great run and we had a lot of fun. Mom and dad are real proud of me. We've got 5 of the necessary 8 Qualifying runs for my CL1 title!!!!!

CPE EVENT OCT 6 - FOLLOW UP!

Well, today was furbulous! We were in 4 events. I placed in one (2nd place) and qualified in 3 (2 first places and 1 third place). I have earned one of 4 titles for level 1 toward the CL1 level 1 title. I have the CL1-S. YEAH! Mom was so proud of me today. She hung up my ribbons first thing when she got home. I got a special dinner - cottage cheese with fish oil and flax oil! YUMMERS! :) I took a nap cuz I was super tired.

Tomorrow is a new day and 4 more events. IF I qualify in all 4 events I'll earn my CL1. But, mom said if I just run clean and have fun it won't matter if we qualify at all. I know deep down she really wants to qualify in everything. Anyhow, I'll post tomorrow with the final results.

CPE EVENT OCT 6-7

Mom entered us!!! YEAH! We're both so excited. There are 4 events each day and we're entered in them all. I just know we're gonna do better than the first time. I just hope we qualify in 1 event!!!!! Wish us luck....and a note to mommy - You better direct me the right way and make sure you have a good treat for me when we're done!

MY FIRST CPE AGILITY TRIAL!

I did really really good. Mom and dad were proud of me. The first day, I was nervous, but still placed in 4 of the 5 events. On day two, I ran 3 events of 5, and qualified in one and placed in one. I took a "no time" once on day one and day two.

My trainer was proud and we met lots of new people. It was fun. We left early on day 2 'cuz I was getting tired and a bit cranky.

Overall - a FABU experience. Can't wait to do it again next month!

I learned to paint...

Twister and I learned to paint today. It was fun and really easy. It only took me about 5 minutes to learn. I had fun! Mom said my painting looks like to blotches the doctors show and ask "what does it look like?" I think it is a picture of me kissing mommy.

Dog Scouts

Ok. Mom, Twister, Dad and I all joined Dog Scouts. Hunter can come too, but he really isn't into some of that stuff. I guess we get to win prizes (badges) and go on outings. I love outings. Mom is teaching Twister to paint. I'm next. I hope he paints something pretty for me.

TINKER

My vacation in North Carolina...

Well, I've never been there before, but I'd go back again! Let me tell you all about it...

We took a very long car ride through Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky and then N. Carolina. We were in the car for 12 hours - YUCK! But, when we got there we had our own little cabin in the woods next to a pretty river to swim it. We hiked and walked and I smelled everything. I met a new friend - Annie. She lived in the house on the hill. Every morning she would come down to play and visit. Mommy gave us lots of treats.

Mom and dad took me to Mt. Mitchell and we hiked. We went to Roaring Fork Falls and I tried to chase bubbles down the fall. Mommy saved me though. It is a long way down and there are lots of rocks.

I walked up the Toe River with my folks and later in the evenings mom would roast marshmallows on the fire for me. They were sticky but super yummy. Annie and I like marshmallows.

I didn't have to be on the leash much. I got all kinds of running around time in the yard with Annie. Mommy and daddy sat in the sun on the deck while we played.

I also got to swim in the river and mom gave me a bath the day before we left. That is NEVER fun.

Great vacation - but glad to be home. I missed by brother B's!
