Mom tricked out my page to celebrate America, Freedom, the Marine Corp, and mostly Grandma and Grandpa.
You see, they were both Marines. Mom is real proud of them. Grandma and Grandpa are both retired, but work tirelessly for the rights of men and women vets (active and non-active). They are involved in many organizations. Grandma is actually the National President of the Women Marines Assoc. She is something else. Mom says that her parents have a worthy cause to work for - even in retirement!
Well grandma and grandpa - this page is for you! We all love you and I wanted you to know it.

Ok, so mom decided it'd be a good idea to crate me. I don't know WHAT she was thinking. Anyhow, it has caused me to get seperation anxiety and I don't like it. I've destroyed 1 crate, 1 mini blind, 1 leash, 1 crate tray and pooped in the mud room, peed on my dog bed and...cried a lot to try an explain to her how much I'm hating this idea.
I think she finally got it though. No more crates. Geez-o-pete she was stubborn. Lucky for me, I'm more stubborn. Hahaha...I got the last laugh this time you evil crate trainer!

I love games! I was tagged by my pals: Stormie, Khola, and Max Mattias.
The Rules
(Hint: Copy and paste the rules so you don't have to type them again):
Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Dogs who are tagged, need to post in their diary the rules and their 7 pawsome facts. Then choose 7 dogs to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to bark them a pmail that they have been tagged and to read your diary, or, send them a fun Rosette announcing they've been Tagged!
1. I don't do any tricks - not even for a tasty morsal! - well, maybe sit - but only for something really really yummy.
2. I have my very own chair.
3. I am terrified of the crate so I don't have to go in. HA HA
4. I walk on a leash pretty good for mommy, but only when she asks me to.
5. I broke my toe in December
6. I like my little brother, Twister - but mommy and daddy are my favorite.
7. I like the cat and the cat likes me too!
I'm sending this to EVERYONE!
I received this from Paku and Flippie!

Well, mom went to Ohio today (wherever that is) and when she got home she had a friend for me - Stella! Mom said it was only a playdate 'cause Stella was going to her new foster home. I didn't care. We played and ran and jumped and had lots of treat - AND I FELL IN LOVE! All of a sudden, Stella was leaving. I am a little sad now. Stella? Where are you? I need you and miss you?
Hopefully mom can take me up to visit Stella and her new foster mom soon. I know she's going to have a great home. Mom said Stella's foster mom has a dog store - maybe we can get treats!

Devotion doesn't even begin to describe my feelings for Hunter. He has had such a hard start to his life, so we want to make up for all the bad.
Hunter's life began with severe difficulty as he was abused and neglected. He was so afraid of men and noises. Luckily, he was fostered by a very loving couple and their Basenji babies. They put him on the road to health and well being.
We came across Hunter's profile on the BRAT site and I instantly fell in love with him. Just seeing his sweet little face warmed my heart. We opened our hearts, home and family to him. He came to us with some fears, but over the past 2+ years has come a long way.
Hunter is so vibrant. He loves us and we love him more. Our family wouldn't be the same without him. He loves the outdoors by day, and at night he loves to cuddle. When I come home from the store, or work, or wherever, he is right there waiting for me. He greets me with affection and wants to be held. He is truly a child with a fur coat.
I believe that every animal comes to our life for a reason. Hunter, in my best estimation, has come to us for the shear joy and healing laughter. He is a clown. He makes me laugh. Is affectionate and caring when I'm down, and even though I may have a bad day from time-to-time, he is always there with that million dollar face to brighten my day.
I love my dogs more than anything and am truly blessed to have this wonderful "little man" in my life and family. He is my heart! This is a special Tail of Devotion
