As many of you already know, Chancey passed away on 1/12/07. He was playing with Tinker, they got a little out of hand, and she appearantly cracked a couple of ribs. This let to a lung laceration. He was doing ok for the first 2 days and we thought with lots of rest and confinement he'd pull through. That was not the case. He took a turn for the worse on Friday and we had to let him go.

It is so very sad to not have our "kids" with us, but it is the kind and humane actions of quality versus quantity that define our humanity. It is our devotion, love and ability to realize our selflessness that help us to endure the hardships of loss.

Thank you for all your prayers and well wishes. Chancey was a wonderful little friend. We loved him deeply and miss him greatly. There aren't words to define my love for my baby boy.
