porter died peacefully yesterday at the vets. we'll miss him alot. :-(

Feeling a little better today

Today I feel a little better but everyone is still worried about me. I do like all the attention though.

Really, Really Sick

Well, I am down to 52 pounds and the vet thinks I might have cancer. I have no energy and I don't feel like eating anything. Can you believe that??? Me not wanting to eat???? They are going to try and give me some new meds maybe they will work.

I am going to try and rest and get better. Wish me well, friends. I wish you all happiness.

I am really sick

Oh man, do I feel sick. I spent most of last night puking and moaning. I have no energy and I never pee inside but last night I did. Today at the vet they said I have a bladder infection and they tested me for some other things. What a drag! I hope I don't need surgery or anything like that.

Maybe I am just getting old? I dunno, in my mind, I am still that little pup running around like mad, chewing on everything.

Happy New Year

Well I haven't written in a long time. I have been way to busy playing in the snow, stealing holiday food, playing with the kids and chasing the cat. But today after all the holiday excitement is over and I am feeling lazy, it seem like a good time to write. But now that I start writing I find that I am too lazy for even that. Maybe I will just (yawn) go curl up on my comfy bed (yawn) and take a little nap.

Hot Days

Some days are just too hot for a big, hairy dog like me. No matter how far I stick my tongue out and pant, it is just not enough. On these kind of days I like run down to the pond and roll around in the mud. Ahhh, you know it is summer when it is hot enough to roll around in some swampy muck.

After I have had enough of the pond swamp, I like to run under the big tree in the back yard. I have dug a big hole there and it is fun to roll around in the dirt while I am still wet. Sometimes a few leaves will stick to my fur. I like how that feels.

Then when my buddy Mighty-G drives in the driveway, I'll run up alongside the car. I forget about the heat when he comes home. He steps out of the car and I jump up on him and slobber him with licks. I think he likes it because he yells and screams. He must be happy to see me!

What a Beautiful Day!

Some days it is just great to be a dog, especially nice warm sunny summer days. Running around the yard, rolling in the dirt, digging holes, what more could a dogster ask for? Maybe paw-friendly keyboards, but that's it!

Dog Food

Dog food is so good. I love a big bowl full. Of course this is not enough. Sometimes I just can't resist jumping up on the counter and eating some human food. Sometimes if I do this, I am showered with attention and the loving words of positive reinforcement, "NO!, NO!" I think in human this means "thank you" or "please keep doing this."

A Dog's Life

Oh, to be a dog! To drool, to sniff, to run! To lick, to bite, to tongue. And when the day is all but done... to lay at the feet of my number one!
