his small red rubber ball and anything plush- he loves to destroy them

carrots, sweet potatoes, oatmeal cookies, yogurt, veggies, fruits, nuts and turkey

in the backyard, he doesn't do well on the pavement- he had spinal surgery for a bad back and now doesn't walk totally right

he catches his little red ball then hits it back with his nose
Arrival Story:
I got spike when I was a young little girl. He lives with my parents and is my 'brother'. We got him a year after his sister Mandy and from a pet shop.
Bio:
Spike is such a trooper. A year ago we almost lost this wondeful old man. He had a slipped disc and had surgery but we were told there was only a 50/50 chance he would walk again...well he is doing GREAT and everything works except his little tail!

Well I have to say I am happy to be here! I am quite the lucky fellow, doing well with my surgery and all. I can actually walk pretty well still! My sister Mandy went to heaven a year ago... I was with her all of my life. I was really sad to see her go but then Gertrude popped up as my sister's new dog and then next thing I knew we had Charlie living in MY house with MY humans. I really do get along with all of them now but I still can get annoyed by those rascal pugs!
