Likes: I love to play with my toys and chew on my nylabones. I also love to play with other dogs and to take long hikes in the mountains!
Pet-Peeves: I hate it when I know my mom is in the house, but I am in a different room from her! I also hate it when she is in the shower. I usually try to jump in with her, but I also hate baths, so I'm in a real catch 22!
Favorite Toy: My favorite toy is my 'speak to me ball.' My mom puts treats in it and whenever I roll it around it lights up and says "good boy Jack!" in my mom's voice. Sometimes treats come out of it too.
Favorite Food: My mommie is super particular about my food, so I love everything she give me. Right now I eat The Honest Kitchen dehydrated food, which is very yummy!
Favorite Walk: My favorite walk is at Chataqua park. There are lots of other dogs there. They are usually a lot bigger than me though.
Best Tricks: I can do sit, stay, come, down, and roll over, but my favorite trick to do is "yay!" where I jump up and down on my hind legs and wave my front paws in the air.
Forums Motto: Practically Perfect Pup!
Favorite Human Friend: My best 'human' friend is John. I like to have a little 'boy time' every now and then and get away from the constant 'pampering' mom gives me. He doesn't make me wear silly t-shirts like mom does, and we get to watch FOOTBALL together!
I had to go back to the vet today to get my stitches out. Mom promised me I was going to get my cone off, so I greeted the vet with a wagging tail and lots of licks! Mom said I was soooo good with the vet checking my stitches, taking them out, and checking my teeth that I got to go to the pet store right after and pick out my favorite treats.
I was so happy to not have to walk around with that silly cone on that I didn't even mind when mom gave me a bath. I just splashed around in the tub and had a great time! Afterward I sat in my bed and fell asleep as mom blew my hair dry with her hair dryer. Now I feel like quite the handsome stud!
All I have to do is convince mom to take down those embarrassing pictures of me with the cone on that last page. I have to keep up a reputation with the ladies!
Mom took me to the vet yesterday. I thought it would be the normal vet visit where I get lots of love, kisses, and treats. Instead I got neutered! I don't know what that is, but I hate it! I have to wear an embarassing cone around my neck. Mom says it is so I don't lick my stitches. But I want to lick them so bad! They itch!
At least I am getting the 'prince' treatment. My mom put my down bed on the sofa next to her and stayed home with me ALL day. She hand feeds me and brings the water bowl up to my little face. I don't have to move at all! She even carries me outside to 'do my business.' I don't like to walk around yet, so she carries me to my favorite spot, lets me go, and then comes to pick me up and carry me back in. It is super cold and snowy. I laugh at her standing out there and running on one place to stay warm while I sit there to cool off my sensitive spot. Hehehe....
I will play and get excited when mom brings out my squeekies, but she is constantly stopping me from getting at my stitches, which is annoying. So I end up just wanting to lay down and be pampered. I think I'm going to play this up for awhile.
Mom let me play in the snow for the first time today! It snowed before, but mom said I was too young to play outside in the cold before. Now I'm big enough to romp around and have fun.
I had so much fun digging, running, and hopping around in the snow. Mom threw my favorite squeeky around and I would chase after it and have to dig around to find it. It was so exciting!
After a little bit my paws got cold so I would sit on my butt and raise all four of them in the air, but I still didn't want to go inside. Thankfully, my mom brought out little doggie booties to keep my paws warmer so I could still roll around and play. I felt a little silly, but they made it so I could play as long as I wanted to without my paws getting cold!
I can't wait for it to snow again! If you want to see pictures of me in the snow, click on the "See My DogsterPlus Photo Book" link at the top of this page.
